Sachse is split into two counties – Dallas County on the Southside and Collin County on the north. We are served by both Garland and Wylie Independent School Districts.
An exceptional education has long been the focus of the GISD. The top responsibility is to provide a rigorous, innovative educational experience that prepares all students for college and careers, along with developing meaningful relationships between schools, families and the community in a safe and secure environment.
Wylie ISD offers an outstanding academic program with a focus on character education beginning in elementary school. The curriculum includes a wide range of programs from culinary arts to television production. The district emphasizes technology in the classroom and as a communications tool for parents.
Since offering its first classes at area high schools in 1985, Collin College has expanded to serve more than 56,000 credit and continuing education students each year. The only public college based in the county, the college offers more than 100 degrees and certificates in a wide range of disciplines.
The Technical Campus is a comprehensive campus offering you multiple paths to succeed in high-demand, high-wage career fields. They offer over 20 programs in areas such as automotive, construction, health care, information technology and manufacturing. The campus also supports academic transfer, dual-credit, continuing education, and corporate training.
Dallas College is one of the largest community colleges in Texas. Since 1965, they have helped almost 3 million people on their educational journey. Their students benefit from their partnerships with local business leaders, school districts and four-year universities, and they have over 20 years of experience in online education. In addition, they provide economic benefits to business, taxpayers and the community.
UT Dallas is a top public university located in one of the nation’s fastest-growing metropolitan regions. Their seven schools offer more than 140 undergraduate and graduate programs, plus professional certificates and fast-track programs.
